Travel Policy — Published Too

Flights & Hotels at Cost

Economy travel, 4-star hotel cap (~$120/night LATAM, ~$180/night EU). Receipts on every invoice line. No markup, ever.

$75

Flat Per Diem

$75–100/day depending on region, no receipts required. Simple for you, simple for us.

50%

Travel Days at Half Rate

You pay half the day rate for travel time. Site visits are batched into blocks — not dribbled across weeks.

Remote-First by Default

Our NOC is remote-first with hubs in Brazil and Portugal — travel is the exception (commissioning, hold-points, quarterly reviews), not the weekly default of big-firm consulting.

Typical EU↔LATAM on-site week: ~$2,100–3,500 in expenses plus half-rate travel days. LATAM-domiciled engineers keep even that lower than EU-consultant equivalents.

We Earn More When You Save More

Wherever the outcome is measurable, part of our fee rides on it. Base fees keep delivery sustainable; success components align us with your results.

Governance — In Writing, Before Work Starts

  • Baseline agreed in writing before the engagement begins
  • Measurement source defined upfront: invoices, DCIM, meters
  • Third-party verifiable on request
  • Caps and floors on both sides
  • Defined payment cadence — no surprise invoices

Example: a 500-core VMware estate facing a ~$67,500/yr renewal moves to managed OpenStack at ~$90k/yr all-in including 24/7 operations — a verified ~$130k/yr saving against baseline + admin costs, of which our success fee would be ~15%.

FAQ

Why publish prices when competitors don't?

Because we're buyers of these services ourselves and we hate opaque quotes. Published pricing respects your time, pre-qualifies our pipeline, and forces us to stay honest. Where a price depends on variables, we publish the variables too.

How do success-based fees work?

A base fee covers delivery; a success component rides on verified outcomes — capex savings on modular builds (15–25% gainshare, capped), invoice-verified TCO reduction on migrations (typically 15% of year-1 savings), and SLA/MTTR/PUE attainment on operations (quarterly bonus). Baselines and measurement sources are agreed in writing before work starts.

How do you charge travel?

Flights and hotels at cost (economy, 4-star cap), flat per diem of $75–100/day without receipts, and travel days at 50% of the day rate. Site visits batch into blocks — the NOC is remote-first, so travel is the exception.

Which entity do we contract with?

EU clients contract with Viwebs OÜ (Estonia) under EU reverse-charge VAT; LATAM clients with QoreLayer EAS (Paraguay); US-billed contracts on request; Brazilian local invoicing where procurement demands it.
